I'm Filipino with thin, frizzy/poofy, wavy hair.
I've been using Frizz-Ease serum (the thermal one) after washing it, then blowdrying it straight with a round brush and my blowdryer, then using a straightening iron, and it works wonderfully. No more frizz.
However, I know I can't keep blowdrying and straightening my hair like that every other day. It's time consuming and I know I'm damaging my hair by doing that.
So today after washing, I combed it (my comb has somewhat wide teeth), then applied serum. Didn't use a towel at all, I just let it air dry wavy. But it dried frizzy. I applied more serum, nothing. Could it be caused by all the blowdrying and straightening?
What can I do to prevent frizziness while still letting it air dry? I also have this cream (also Frizz Ease) but it was too greasy when I used it a few times before.
Should I try out the Dream Curls thing? Would using the Dream Curls shampoo and conditioner be recommended as well along with the spray?
Frizzy, wavy hair... help appreciated!?
Sunsilk Creams, Shampoos, and Conditioners work well. I use the anti-poof cream. I don't use the shampoo, but it still works good. it would probably work better with the shampoo and conditioner.
Here's the de-frizz one.

Here's the site where you can get free samples. I don't think it'll come with a lot, if you decide to get some.

Here is what a beautician recommended to a friend. She suggested that she get a perm to direct the curls. Makes sense to me.
Note: I found that when Pantene changed their formula about 2 years ago, it made my hair dry. The scent changed too from fresh to perfume. Try Aussie products, I've had good luck with them.
