I turn polar bears white And I will make you cry.I make guys have to pee And girls comb their hair (

I make celebrities look stupid And normal people look like celebrities. I turn pancakes brown And make your champagne bubble If you squeeze me, I'll pop If you look at me, you'll pop.

Can you guess the riddle? Cause I have no Idea

I turn polar bears white And I will make you cry.I make guys have to pee And girls comb their hair (more Below

The answer is TIME. Here's the poetic explanation:

"The time has come,

winter is here

and those yellow bears disapear.

The time has past

as man looks back with a sigh

and a tear in his eye.

As time is held

boys cross their legs

but of course the toilet begs

As time marches on

Girls loose their blush

and swap a comb for their brush

As time passes

For those held high

their end is nigh

As time catches up

Everyone is equal

when we get to the final sequal

As time turns

Without it we have flour and water

With it we have breakfast for my daughter

As time revolves

How does one turn water and wine

into something so fine

As time runs out

The more in a minute you try and squeeze

the less you can do with ease.

As time ticks

All the time that has past

man cannot comprehand something so vast."

Aussie hair products?

is there and aussie product that i could put in my hair at the pool that would make it eaiser to comb out (since the chlorine makes my hair really hard to brush out) and then i could get back in the pool with it? or also any other brand of product would be fine but i prefer aussie. thanks in advance %26lt;3

Aussie hair products?

Aussie 3 minuite miracle!!

I works awesome! Just put a little bit in your hair before you get in, and when you get out, your hair will be smooth and silky!

Aussie hair products?

Aussie leave in conditioner works miracles!!! i loveee it, it's easy to comb through and your hair stays SOOO soft =]

Aussie hair products?

Leave In Conditioners are great but the kiddie detangler spray works great too and its cheaper

Hair loss in the shower?

I am a 19 yr old guy with short hair and today in the shower lost upto 20 hairs. I was washing my hair after a gap of 4-5 days and my hair style is such that i do not comb or brush at all. So could this be the normal amount of daily hair loss or is it something to worry about ?!?

Hair loss in the shower?

It's normal because we lose tons of hair each day (I can't remember the exact amount), so don't worry.

Hair loss in the shower?

you probably just need to take some vitamins.

Hair loss in the shower?

It;s very normal :]... everyone loses up to 1,000 hairs a day! So dont worry!

Hair loss in the shower?

it's probably just the cumulative hair loss after five days

to be safe, start taking zinc and vitamin A to strengthen your hair =) or a daily multivitamin

How can i stop losing so much hair?

i'm eighteen years old, so it's not really time yet to lose so much hair in the shower. i lose so much it clogs the drain up. and then when i get out of the shower i lose more through combing it. i do iron my hair straight a lot, about 3 times a week. but even before i had a straightening iron i lost a lot. is it because of a nutrition deficiency? is it cuz my hair is maybe too long and i need to cut it or thin it out? is there a shampoo that can make it stronger? i don't know what to do =-(

How can i stop losing so much hair?

What are you eating? If anything?

Have you moved recently, to a colder climate?

Are you taking vitamins?

Are you stressed?

Need to go to the dr. And yes, straightening/coloring, put stress on the hair. It may not like it.

How can i stop losing so much hair?

I heard taking HOT showers makes your hair fall

Hair Breakage?

I've recently been having A LOT of hair breakage. At first I thought my hair was starting to thin out, but I noticed a ton of really short wispy hairs at the top of my head. I figure that it must be from sun damage, chlorine damage, and also damage from highlights that I got done a while ago. I was just wondering what I can do to try and keep my hair from ever doing this again? What sort of vitamins should I take? Should I start using a wide-tooth comb? What are some really good hair products I should use? Any suggestions are appreciated!!

Hair Breakage?

If you swim a lot and get chlorine damage, try protecting your hair before you go. Just soaking your hair in non-chlorinated water can help - if your hair is already full of water it can stop it soaking in so much chlorine - or cover it with conditioner or oil (coconut oil or olive oil). This can be a bit gross, though it does help protect your hair! Make sure you rinse out all the chlorine in the shower after.

When you're out in the sun try to keep your hair covered with a bandana or hat. Remeber your scalp can get sunburnt if you don't protect it. If you don't want to do this, treat your hair to an intensive conditioning treatment after a lot of sun exposure - again, coconut oil or olive oil make excellent (and cheap!) conditioning treatments - apply it to your hair overnight, or a few hours before you wash.

Brushing your hair can be the cause of a lot of breakage. Don't use a brush with plastic balls on the ends of the bristles, as they are the worst, apparently. A wide tooth wooden comb is good to prevent both breakage and static - comb your hair out in sections from the bottom up. Be careful when combing wet hair - it's far more prone to breakage then - and *never* brush wet hair.

If you wear your hair up a lot, think about the elastics or clips you use. Metal barrettes and the elastics with metal joins can rub on your hair causing breakage. You can get elastics without the metal bits.

Products such as shampoo and conditioners differ for everyone. What is good for my hair won't necessarily be good for your hair. Try to avoid harsh shampoos. Also, 'repairing' or 'anti-breakage' conditioners cannot actually repair your hair. Instead they coat your hairs with, usually, silicone-related substances. This can help protect your hair, but can also prevent your hair getting the moisture it needs and can leave a build up that makes your hair lank and greasy feeling. If you do buy a conditioner like this, use a clarifying shampoo occasionally to remove this.

Hair Breakage?

Same thing happened to me. Stop doing any of these things if you do them. Stop using any heat, coloring, bleaching, and using a brush.

Start using a wide tooth comb, a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, and i suggest using Redken Anti-snap that is what my stylist at the salon recommended.

Also it would never hurt to start taking vitamins. Good luck to you

Hair Breakage?

well, just take good care of your hair, always, and to let your hair stay away from breakage, maybe you should have a hair trim for that matter. or use conditioner and a good advice is, be consistent in the hair products you're using..

Hair Breakage?

This happened to me also.

Use a deep conditioner.

You can buy them in chemists, pharmacys, drugstores, hair salons etc

Just ask.

They sometimes say "leave in for 15 minutes". But I leave it in for and hour.

My hair is slowly improving.

A wide-tooth comb would be wise

Barbie hair?

im going to a barbie party tonight......im gloing as aerobics barbie i have everything figured oyut except my hair...i wanna make it like those awesome 80s/90's barbies i had when oi was little...not the boring new ones. i have brown hair that goes to my chest and i want to wear it down...(big probably too) i have hairspray combs brushes straightener blowdryer and hairspray etc. what and how should i do it?

Barbie hair?

Put it in big curls. :]

Barbie hair?

do it in a massively huge fountain right smack in the middle of your head and wear a big scrunchy and use a elastic headband. i can picture it and idk what you look like.

Barbie hair?

How about half up half down and a high ponytail on the side with a sweat band....that would be totally 80s

Barbie hair?

a side pony tail

aerobics barbie had one

Barbie hair?

You so have to do a side ponytail teased to no end and 4"bangs teased up and sprayed to the side. lol

If you are hell bent or wearing it down break out the aqua net and go to town!! Don't forget the sweatband around your head!

Barbie hair?

throw your hair upside down and blowdry. then, with your hair still upside down- spray a toooonnn of hairspray- the flip it over- spray more hairspray and kinda tease it up with your hands. or hold pieces of your hair up and brush down with the comb to tease it. but just remember- the 80's was all about hairspray!! good luck and have fun!

Barbie hair?

hairspray it flipped upside down for like five minutes

and use gel

but only on the "inside" layer of ur hair so it doesnt look gross and hard

Barbie hair?

well aerobics barbie had crimped, teased long hair so tease it . if i were u i would wear it in pigtails(not braided) and tease the pig tails. then wear a sweatband. that would be soooo cute

Barbie hair?

Jane Fonda has the perfect look for this from the 80's she, did all these exercise movies, and her hair is brown. So maybe this would help? I've included a link of a photo that might benefit you. Good Luck and have fun!!

Barbie hair?

Wear a terry/cloth headband across your forehead, brighter the better. want to go all out, add braids and beads.

if you want to make it easier on you, then make a tight ponytail, have it coming out high, to the side of your head like a handle of a cup.

have fun!

Barbie hair?

Aerobics Barbie- I actually had one in the 80's- her hair was in a side ponytail.

For big definitely blow dry while bending over.

Barbie hair?

huge puff and flip it at the ends

Why my hair falls so much whenever i comb my hair it is so much that i have to put towel before me w

there's only 2 things that i can think of and it's either stress or you have thyroid problems.........well thats what i think at least

Why my hair falls so much whenever i comb my hair it is so much that i have to put towel before me when i comb

Go to a dermatologist.

Why my hair falls so much whenever i comb my hair it is so much that i have to put towel before me when i comb

you may need a hot oil treatment or deep conditioning

Why my hair falls so much whenever i comb my hair it is so much that i have to put towel before me when i comb

it sounds like your hair is to dry and you need to condition your hair and also give yourself a hot oil treatment and also look into going to hair dresser that might help too

Why my hair falls so much whenever i comb my hair it is so much that i have to put towel before me when i comb

I have super thick hair and at the end of every winter my hair falls out by the handful. It scared and I went to the dr and he said its normal for us to shed hair. Unless its falling out by massive amounts and your going bald then dont worry.

Why my hair falls so much whenever i comb my hair it is so much that i have to put towel before me when i comb

sorry to hear that..Visit the doctor.....he might let you know whats really going on.....You can use hot oil treatment, but tht depends on your hair type....don't comb your hair so much..just brush it gently with a detangling brush or something like tht for the moment...it might help really well

Why my hair falls so much whenever i comb my hair it is so much that i have to put towel before me when i comb

Use detangler if you're combing it when it's still wet.

Depending on your hair type- use detangler no matter what.

Uh if you dye your hair at all- There's an ingredient in hair dye with something like Aluminum (Just check out the ingredients)...

This makes your hair weaker and pretty much just fall right out.

To avoid: search for dye products that don't contain aluminum (Most will...Herbal Essencese and Loreal is the worst for straight hair).

To gain some more hair back- there's a product called Nioxon, its a clenser and a conditioner- man...that stuff litereally does just grow hair right back. Ask your stylist (or A stylist)

Why my hair falls so much whenever i comb my hair it is so much that i have to put towel before me when i comb

i am the same way... it could be stress....but if you are not stressed go to the dermatologist

My hair gets really oily and staticy...?

I wash my hair everyday, but by the time I get home by school my hair gets really staticy to the point where I shock myself combing my hand through them. Its straight naturally and I just comb it in the morning. Anything to prevent it getting statciy and oily?

My hair gets really oily and staticy...?

Sunsilk has the best line for individual problems with hair. Look for anti-static brand.

My hair gets really oily and staticy...?

wash it with pantene.

My hair gets really oily and staticy...?

see a hair professional.

My hair gets really oily and staticy...?

use garneir fructis shampoo and conditioner and there's a brush that eliminates frizz. it's bristles are black and orange-copper at the tips. my hair's just like yours, so I would know. also, have you ever thought about straightening your hair? p.s. glass serum b redken also is great.

How to Take Care of Dry and Oily Hair

White ladies with half black children? Don't know to take care of hair esspecially when is on t

Isn't it so sad how a lot of white women with bi-racial children that have pretty kinky hair don't know how to do it. Their hair becomes so damaged because their white mothers don't know about hair moisturizer. This weekend at The hair salon my cousin works at this one white woman came in crying and i saw this little cute bi-racial girl who's hair looked like it really needed to be combed. I had to comb it out, wash it and braid it or else her mother wouldn't know what to do.

White ladies with half black children? Don't know to take care of hair esspecially when is on the kinky side.

WORD!

some white people is clueless. they take their sons to white barber shops and their kids hair comes out nappier than when they first got there. wtf??

White ladies with half black children? Don't know to take care of hair esspecially when is on the kinky side.

Ok this is racist. I'm white and my husband is part Sudanese part Saudi so he's black. Anyway I'd be danged if my daughter was taken to have her hair braided. Don't assume that all white women who have bi racial kids don't know how to braid their kids hair.

White ladies with half black children? Don't know to take care of hair esspecially when is on the kinky side.

I think it takes alot of time getting used to. It's not even that hard to look after because it's longer and less thicker than a Black persons hair. So manageable enough to comb

White ladies with half black children? Don't know to take care of hair esspecially when is on the kinky side.

When you become a mother, regardless of race. You have to learn to take care of your children. Some people don't know how to do hair, having children is a learning process. I'm sure that as time goes on she will learn how to manage it. Or she can just pay to get it done, until she's old enough to have it relaxed.

White ladies with half black children? Don't know to take care of hair esspecially when is on the kinky side.

If they had a clue in the first place....

White ladies with half black children? Don't know to take care of hair esspecially when is on the kinky side.

I think you're being a bit harsh here. Granted I understand what you're saying but you could at least be more tactful.

And to put this into perspective, if someone doesn't have experience doing something, instead of ridiculing why don't you post a "how to guide".

If I were you (in the hair salon with the crying woman) I would've pulled her aside, and showed her how to manage her daughters hair on a day to day basis and show her what she needs to do in the future.

Be part of the solution, not fuel the problem.

White ladies with half black children? Don't know to take care of hair esspecially when is on the kinky side.

Well, what about the black mothers with black kids who have messed up hair. I see a lot of it lol.

All ya need is a some water, light grease, acholol-free gel, a brush, some barrets/hair ties.

White ladies with half black children? Don't know to take care of hair esspecially when is on the kinky side.

Im a white woman with a bi-racial daughter. I, for one, know how to do her hair. And I agree with "Thorne" completely!!!

Black male, with afro, thinking of getting hair relaxed?

Im a black male, i have normal black hair, i cornrow it every two weeks, everyone keeps telling me that i should get it relaxed because it would make my hair easier to take out and easier to manage. because at the moment! every time i need to take my hair out it needs to be combed out and greased and then braided and its very long and drawn out and quite tiring!

So is getting my hair relaxed a good step to take, my main worry is my hair looking like crap because of the relaxer, or my hair falling out because of the chemicals in it, would that happen?

can anybody help?

thank you in advance

Black male, with afro, thinking of getting hair relaxed?

Go for it, dude. Be your own man. Don't listen to the "eewwws" from the pre-teen crowd. You won't know unless you try, and your hair certainly isn't going to fall out. Do you think women would line up for it if it weren't safe?

Black male, with afro, thinking of getting hair relaxed?

Why would you get a relaxer? That is not hot. If you were a girl I would recommend you do that. But you're a boy. Deal with it or chop it off.

Black male, with afro, thinking of getting hair relaxed?

i kinda have to agree with =) ... i can't imagine how your hair would look after it's relaxed..are you going to style it, too? LOL..i think the fro or cornrows are hot, but if it's too much work and hassle just shave it down really short.

Black male, with afro, thinking of getting hair relaxed?

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO!!!!! Relaxed hair on a man is a serious no-no. It doesn't look cool from any angle. I'm sorry but the whole combing out, greasing etc. is part and parcel of having natural hair with any length. If you are too lazy to maintain it I suggest you get it cut off. Please don't be like those uber-sad black guys with shiny, stiff relaxed hair who try and style it like the guys from McFly. (Guys you know who you are!!!)

Secondly, while relaxed hair might be easier to comb it takes just at much maintenance ie. regrowth touch-ups (every 6 weeks) to keep it from breaking, constant conditioning and all the rest otherwise your lovely natural hair which you relaxed to oblivion will end up looking like black thatch!!!! STAY WELL AWAY FROM THE CREAMY CRACK.

Black male, with afro, thinking of getting hair relaxed?

I don't think that relaxing your hair will be the key to manageability. I have been natural for well over 6 yrs and my hair is very manageable. Relaxed hair does not look good on a brotha simply because you were not born with straight hair. Keep the kinks in that's what make cornrows so beautiful. Besides your hair just might fall out from the chemicals because it will truly be a shock for your head. Maybe you should change up your shampoos and conditioners, ya know something that will soften it up some. Creme of Nature is wonderful. Maybe even try to essential oils. I use 100% shea butter in me hair and it works great. See what a lotta black people don't know is how to really care for our hair so that it will be soft and pain free when combing. Also if you relax it you will still have to be combed out, "greased" and will still take the same amount of time. All I gotta say is keep it nappy brotha. Peace.

One Luv,

Naturalosity

P.S. The world is your oyster do what makes you happy but think long and hard. :)

Black male, with afro, thinking of getting hair relaxed?

Why would you want to do that?! I like it when Black men have their hair braided in cornrows. It looks good like that. I don't know how other women feel, but relaxed hair on men just doesn't look right. In my opinion (remember I'm just stating my opinion and not a fact!) it looks too feminine. Plus you might find that your hair might start to break off from the relaxer. That's what happened to my hair. I had to stop relaxing my hair in order for it to grow again. Leave those chemicals alone!

Hair loss at 15?!?!?!?

ive been losing my hair for awhile now. i just ignored it. but now when ever comb it, i can see my scalp. i try to cover it wth my hair but its starting to get annoying. i need help cause i dont want to lose my hair by like 18 or something. plz tell me if theres somethign i can do to help get my hair back. some kind of shampoo or anything. plz help me.

Hair loss at 15?!?!?!?

i would go to the doctors because it could be something else that is making you loose hair and if there is nothing wrong then they may be able to tell you some good treatments to help.

Hair loss at 15?!?!?!?

shave your head... be bold... do it !

Hair loss at 15?!?!?!?

Buy the stuff at the store, it will help your hair grow back to normal.

Hair loss at 15?!?!?!?

i dont think theres anything wrong w/ u medically i have an uncle that was almost completely bald by the time he was 20

there are a lot of hair loss treatments u have to do some research

Hair loss at 15?!?!?!?

unfortunately this happens, my fiancee has been losing his hair since he was 17.. he is 26 now and is not bald, his hair has actually grown back quite a bit, he has been on rogaine treatments and a scalp laser twice a week. he bought a scalp laser over-the-counter that has been FDA approved for regrowth of hair. short of hair transplants, the only thing you can try is using minoxidil treatments (rogaine), they also sell specific shampoo and conditioner for hair loss at beauty supply stores (try sally they have a lot of products for hair loss). they also have a prescription for male pattern hair loss called Propecia you might have success with. you have to be really diligent with them and use them every day, the only downside is they can be pricy and your hair will fall out if you stop using them. but they actually do work to grow back your hair, especially if you have not lost that much yet, my fiancee has grown back a lot of hair that fell out.

Hair loss at 15?!?!?!?

Chemicals, Drugs, Rogaine庐, Transplants ?

All those unnatural ways to grow hair with harsh chemicals and by plugging in hair transplants are earning huge corporations billions of dollars and doctors hundreds of thousands of dollars each year.

Why would they be foolish enough to promote something that would cost you less than $15 in grocery store stuff that can help to stop hair loss and regrow lost hair ? On top of that, they can鈥檛 make any money off of you from return visits or forcing you to buy their stuff every month for the rest of your life !

Rogaine庐 will set you back $40 a month, about $500 a year 鈥?for life. A hair transplant will cost around $10,000 or so. And the worst thing about them is that if they don鈥檛 work you don鈥檛 get your money back.

Braided Hair?

So I braided my hair two weeks ago and I LOVED it. My hair is chemically relaxed but it didn't matter because it looked good either way and I liked them. But I didn't realize that if you don't wash your hair with residue removing shampoo the braids tend to trap residue and moisture and start to smell. Not necessarily bad, but just like hair rather than not smelling at all. So I had my friend redo them last weekend and she was tired so she did them half ***, and so I took them out in one of my classes at school and now my hair has a very weird texture to it. It's not the same as before. It doesn't smell it just seems like it won't untangle. I used a comb through it and it pulled chunks of hair out because it was so tangled. Now, I'm a guy and I'm like white as can be so I really suck with hair.. I've tried washing and conditioning the **** out of it and nothing seems to make it go back... Can anyone help me on why my hair remains tangled and weird textured?

Braided Hair?

It sounds like the chemical relaxant worked like a permanent wave solution. It doesn't make any sense though and I've never heard of the tangles not being able to be washed out. Maybe you could try blow drying your hair while combing it straight.

Braided Hair?

Permed Hair is a tricky business, I would try loosening the braids, weaving it again (with lots of oil!), then after a month I perm it again and put the damn thing out of water!

Perm+ water= Crappy Hair (till you can perm it again)

This usually works for mine but you have to ask a proper hair saloon- ist!

Braided Hair?

hello,

i have been braiding my hair for a very long time.

when you brush your hair you want to start at the bottom until all the tangles are out.

not sure why your hair smells other then shampoo?

wash and re braid.

my oldest son has done the dreadlocks before and it sounds like this is what your hair might be doing?

do you know when braiding horses mains and tails if you leave them wet there hair will fall out? thank goodness our hair is not like theres!

good luck!

Braided Hair?

You can find good hair weaving / braiding information at below blog. It will definitely help you. Have a look at it.

I do not know how to do my hair!!!?

I am an African American female and I do not know how to do my hair. All my life my parents has sent me to salons and not that I am 23, I have recently tried doing it on my own but it has never worked. I bought flat irons, curlers, hot combs....you name it, I got it!! However everytime I attempt to curl, flat iron, roll it up, straighten it, or style it; it NEVER comes out right. My friends say its so easy but I find it very difficult. I have been trying for years now and I just want to give up. I dont have the money to go to the salon all the time. I need a simple solution. Any suggestions????

I do not know how to do my hair!!!?

you just have to practice. normally girls practice at a younger age so they know how to do their own hair by the time they are your age. but since you have never done your own hair, you have to start now. ask your friend to help you. just make sure you use heat protectants when you use flat irons and curling irons.

I do not know how to do my hair!!!?

k it is not that hard

but since you are having trouble

when you go to a salon ask them to show you

and tell you some tricks

and ask them what you are doing wrong

I do not know how to do my hair!!!?

If you want to straighten your hair, you need a really good straightener. :) You're best to buy an expensiveish, ceramic one from a salon IMO. The cheaper ones take forever to heat up, and your hair won't stay straight for very long. Make sure you straighten small sections at a time. Every once in a while, comb through your hair to reveal any wavy spots you may have missed. When you're done, use a smoothing cream or hairspray.

If you want to keep your hair curly, condition your hair every day with a conditioner for curly hair (ex. herbal essences has one, I think it's called Twirls %26amp; Curls?). Blow dry your hair, and when it's still damp, run some gel or smoothing cream through your hair to separate the curls.

Sorry that's all I can think of. I have almost the same problem (really long wavy/curly/frizzy hair), it's a pain because it takes so much time to do your hair every day. x_x

I do not know how to do my hair!!!?

I am in the same situation right now. One thing you could do is go natural. Taking care of natural hair is just a bit easier. One way to transition is to get individual or microbraids which last for a couple of months and are extremely easy to care for. It usually costs around $100 to get them done so that's about $50 a month depending on how long you can make them last. There are hair care forums like lhcf.com with a TON of tips. These girls have beautiful hair that they take care of on their own. Also on fotki.com there is someone named sistaslick...she's awesome. Good luck!

Has anyone else had a problem of hair loss after pregnancy? What do to in this case?

I am now 15 weeks post partum after delivering my baby in March. Since the past 5 weeks I have been having hair loss. When I wash my hair, I usually get a rope of hair falling in the tub, and when I comb it, I get a few rope strands. Is this normal after pregnancy, has anyone else had this problem. I have heard it's something to do with the hormones getting back to their old self. Anyone have any advice for what you did, or how long it took for the shedding to stop? I have long hair right now about till the middle of my back. This Saturday I am getting them cut to shoulder length to prevent my hair from thinning as a result. Doesn't this suck?

Has anyone else had a problem of hair loss after pregnancy? What do to in this case?

It happened to me, apparently i read it on the net somewhere coz i too freaked out, your body stops losing hair while you are pregnant and about 3 months after you have had your baby all the excess hair starts coming out. Mine stopped when my baby was about 6 months old.

Has anyone else had a problem of hair loss after pregnancy? What do to in this case?

http://www.drspock.com/discussion/messag...

I hope this helps.

Has anyone else had a problem of hair loss after pregnancy? What do to in this case?

Don't fear! I had the exact same thing happen. When you are pregnant your hormones are running rampant, and your hair actually gets thicker and grows like crazy.

So after you deliver you don't have those hormones anymore and thus the resultant excessive hair loss ensues.

It will slowly reduce to the normal 100 hairs a day that most people have.

Has anyone else had a problem of hair loss after pregnancy? What do to in this case?

yes that sucks. and its normal to lose hair after pregnancy or end of pregnancy!

Bumps on back of neck and back of scalp after hair cut question.?

Every time I get my hair cut, the barber or even if I cut my own hair with a buzzer will take the guard off to go over the back of my neck. I always get these hard painful bumps that won't even pop. I'll also get them kind of towards the back of my scalp too. Do any barbers or in general anyone know either a)how to prevent these or b) what these are? I use a spray disenfectact everytime before I use my buzzer, and the barber always has her combs and clips sanitized or sprayed before use as well.

Bumps on back of neck and back of scalp after hair cut question.?

I put this question in my SAVE list, because I have the same problem and was hoping for an answer also.

We'll wait and see.

Answers provided so far are terrible.

Bumps on back of neck and back of scalp after hair cut question.?

Sounds like razor burn. Your skin is just irritated...use shaving cream.

Bumps on back of neck and back of scalp after hair cut question.?

maybe you are allergic to the sanitizer.... wash the back of your neck well with soap and water... dry it well and brush with baby powder.... at night, rub on some neosporin before bed, when you wake up, wash it off and repeat the baby powder and at night the neosporin until its gone.

i am sorry dude... i thought i was answering accordingly... i am a hairdresser and some clients are allergic to the sanitizer solution and the backs of their necks do break out... i thought i was helping you, sorry!!

So short hair i scrach my head i use the nit comb nothing there have i got them?

If you had, you would be able to see them, either on the comb or on your head when carefully parting your hair.

It's not always nits that cause head scratching though. My son has very short hair and scratches his head as a habit, moreso when he's stressed or sweaty! Or, it could be a reaction to whatever products you use on your hair.

So short hair i scrach my head i use the nit comb nothing there have i got them?

Which hair extention are better?

hi everyone....well i want to get sum hair extention...but i wanted to know which one was better....are the glue one better n if i do get it will some hair be lumpy when i pass da comb because of the glue???...if you think theres another type thats better let me know...thanx again :)

Which hair extention are better?

Glue is not the healthiest for the hair, but it is good for a smoother more sleek look. When you comb your hair, use a paddle brush, because it will comb out any tangles, and be careful. Try not to comb where the hair extension weft is. It shouldn't be lumpy if they are put in correctly. You can also get extensions by having the stylist cornrow your entire head, and then 'sewing' the hair in. This will last longer than the glue (which is called bonding) method. But it might be a little more bulky looking.

Which hair extention are better?

Glue is the best on your hair.

What causes hair loss???????

what causes hair loss?? i seem to lose hair when im taking a bath or even whe im combing..what shoul i do??..... im 15 yrs old......

What causes hair loss???????

Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems. It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of a cycle of growing new hairs and loosing some. Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Straighten African American Hair?

I try to wash my hair every day so the pores won't get clogged up but when I use a blowdryer on my hair it gets all fuzzy and poofs out, what can I do to get my hair straight without using a perm or hot comb?

Straighten African American Hair?

Use The SOLIA flat iron and an ionic blow dryer for the poofs and before you blowdry put on Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum it will condition your hair and protect it from the blowdryes heat. Before you iron use CHI silk infusion it will make your hair soft and it also helps protect against breakage of hair. a good website you might want to visit that has helped me alot is www.folica.com I hope this has helped you

Straighten African American Hair?

Use an Ionic Turmoline Hair straightener.

The Sedu won't pull on your hair; will make it straight (pin straight) and shiny with no chemicals and in less than 10 minutes if you have thick african hair.

www.folica.com

Straighten African American Hair?

buy a chi!!!! and use biosilk in it. or just stop drying it and buy products that will define ur natural wave or curl. i use garnier fructis on my cousins hair and some mousse and twist it around with my fingers coming it makes it easier to manage also

Straighten African American Hair?

You can straighten your hair by blow drying if you use hair oil or a type of straightening hair cream. Im not sure how well a straightener will be, but i suggest a hot comb with some hair products.

Hi, I'm loosing so much of hair daily. I want a thick hair. Pls suggest on this.?

Every day there is a severe loosing of the hair. I'hv used many oils. Presently I'm using Aswini hair oil and Garnier Fructis shampoo. Once in a while I apply even Henna. But there is no result on this. My hair is reddish in colour. I'm not bothered about the colour but loosing of the hair.

Now-a-days I'm scared to comb also. Pls help me and give correct solutions for this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm loosing so much of hair daily. I want a thick hair. Pls suggest on this.?

first of all you have to determine if your hair is breaking from the shaft which means its weak " low protein content " or you are not treating it right " external cause " like not brushing the right way , stressed hairdos , chemicals , heat.....but if its falling with its whole length it means that the cause is internal so if you are in an overall good health condition its due to diet insufficiency's

Vitamins minerals

so to restore your hair back I would suggest a complete regimen of growing a healthy hair from within and protecting the existing hair

-multivitamins and mineral supplements for hair and nails

-MSM and silica

-oils that are rich in omega3 like fish oil capsules and flax seed oil

-"flax seed oil can treat baldness if used for one year 2 tea spoon everyday"

-garlic oil " odorless"

highly protien rich diet with free amino acids "specially in L form" you can take amino suplements also

protecting your hair depending on its type " oily or dry"

henna is good but it drys the hair out if not prepared and washed out properly to prevent that just add a tea spoon of olive oil to the henna past and when done rains it very well

and use moisturizing conditioners

if your hair is curly or dry use hot oil treatment every week ...it can do wonders

minimize manipulation and wear a protective hairstyle so the hair wont rub against clothes

use a protecting moisturizer in the sun " UV "

satin or silk pillow case or wear a head scarf "satin and silk don't absorb moisture from your hair " when going to sleep

when brushing hair tret it like gold

start from the tips up to the scalp and if it tangels just loose the brush and untangel it with your fingers

scalp massage the for a good blood circulation

with both hand press your finger tips "not nails" on the scalp and move them in round motion make sure you're not rubbing your fingertips against the scalp but moving it with them for about 2 minutes twice a day , it gives a good feeling of relaxation and increases blood supply to the scalp which has good effect on hair growth.

use natural products when ever possible like Olive oil for moisturizing

natural made hair shampoo ....I don閳ユ獩 got the brand name in mind but it works for me

or a zinc containing shampoos, its proven to grow a healthy hair and prevent hair fall

finally minimize stress because it has a negative effect on hair as on the overall health by sports and meditation or worm bath in candle lights or whatever you like to do

and be patient because beauty is not achieved by night but its achievable

good luck

when you find the holy grail, let me know

Hi, I'm loosing so much of hair daily. I want a thick hair. Pls suggest on this.?

I think mult-vitamin might solve your problem. If you are on prescription medication, some of them cause hair loss, can talk to your doctor about it.

Hi, I'm loosing so much of hair daily. I want a thick hair. Pls suggest on this.?

eat!! more protein. like egg. sardine's.. etc. or.. change your shampoo.

閳?br>Hi, I'm loosing so much of hair daily. I want a thick hair. Pls suggest on this.?

Folic Acid vitamins, that you can purchase over-the-counter can help re-grow dead cells, including those in your hair folicles. I take folic acid daily, because I have thinning hair. When i don't take it, I notice that i lose more hair. It won't help you get thick hair, but it will stop more hair from falling out. Also, don't use Pantene products. Although they seem to thicken hair, at the same time they clog your hair folicles... causing your hair to stop growing. Hope this helps. :)

Hi, I'm loosing so much of hair daily. I want a thick hair. Pls suggest on this.?

products called doo-gro or super grow

Hi, I'm loosing so much of hair daily. I want a thick hair. Pls suggest on this.?

avoid combing ur hair tooo often

do not apply too much shampoo when u wash ur hair

preferablly dry ur hair out in d sun as driers will cause d hair to split at ends

if u have dandruff, try gettin rid of it immediately

do not change ur hairoil/shampoo frequently-use only one.

wash ur hair not more than thrice a week.

Hi, I'm loosing so much of hair daily. I want a thick hair. Pls suggest on this.?

Stop worrying too much. This piece of advice if followed properly will definitely yield positive results not only for your hair but also for your general well being !!!! Good luck !!!!

Natural Homemade Tips for Hair %26amp; Skin

http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-42eT_e8_b...

Hi, I'm loosing so much of hair daily. I want a thick hair. Pls suggest on this.?

First step: Stop worrying sOOOO much! ( lol)

This is a very common hair problem. But there is a solution to every problem, RIGHT? And there's a solution to this hair problem as well.

Now, first of all pls change ur shampoo. I've used garnier fructis. It's not good for ur hair. Use new sunsilk hair-fall solution shampoo. Its a new sun silk shampoo made for people who have hair-fall problem. It wud suit u.

Then, a part from shampoo use hair oils. I'll tell u. Use DABAR AMLA HAIR OIL. It wud make ur hair long n strong. In the mean while also use this mixture of oil:

Buy sesame oil, olive oil and almond oil. Buy only one small bottle for each of these oils. Then pour equal quantities of each of these oils in an empty bottle, and give it a good shake. It wud become a mixture of oils. Use this oil once or twice a week. Ur hair would become strong in a couple of days, and there wud be no hair-fall anymore.!

***GOOD LUCK***

Hi, I'm loosing so much of hair daily. I want a thick hair. Pls suggest on this.?

You should try Almond oil + Eggs mixture, That willl help you, that will make your hair thick, but I can't guarantee of falling hair .

How to get rid of the nits on the bottom of long hair, no lice left though?

I got head lice from my kids bringing it home from school. I treated my hair as directed by the Rid Shampoo. I used the gel and combed out all the nits. I still have long hair and have nits still on the bottom of my hair ends. How Do I get rid of them and are they dead or alive and will I get lice again?

How to get rid of the nits on the bottom of long hair, no lice left though?

you have to pull all the nits out, its a LONG process but that is the only way to get all them out. Make sure you do the whole treatment again in a week. Its hard to say if you if not you will get them again, but now you know they like your hair.

Long Layers [hair stylists PLEASE answer]?

I have been reading up on how to cut your own layers and I have read two different ways to do it.

I know all the steps I would just like someone to clear this one up for me, perferably a hair dresser or someone who has done this before with success.

After you comb your hair and put it in a pony tail on the center/top of your head it says to put your head upside down and cut straight across the bottom or to which ever legnth you prefer. Another says to "twist your hair into a spiral" then cut straight across.

So do I twist my hair before I cut or just comb it straight then cut, and is there a difference between the two?

Long Layers [hair stylists PLEASE answer]?

If you truly want "Long" layers it is NOT a good idea to put your hair in a ponytail on the top of your head and cut "straight" across ... you will most likely end up with shoulder length shaggy. In all honesty I would not advise ponytail cutting as you will end up with short patches in all the wrong places especially if you twist it!! I say this because if you twist the hair you will have the hair not being consistent in where it goes, some hair will not twist around as far as other hair. You could end up with a bunch being longer or shorter than you really want thus creating patches( and that is bad enough when a stylist does it to you!!!)

You can put your hair up in a ponytail and "angle cut" to achieve the longer layers...by angle cut I mean cutting closer to the scalp at the crown( about 3" or a bit longer depending on how long you want the top to be) at the back of your head, then angling out to a tip towards your nose as you extend your arms forward.

To end up with a better "layer cut" you comb your hair from back of your head to front and angle trim from your brow out as you extend your arms. When doing the sides you would bring them from the back forward and up to the brow ( not to the side by the cheeks) Always try to end up at the same point in front of your nose above your forehead.

But then again for the "long layers" you really should not attempt this on your own as your arms reach will limit, I don`t know any stylist that do this to themselves ( that may be for good reason as they too have reverse cut issues, meaning it is tough for them to cut backwards too lol)

Long Layers [hair stylists PLEASE answer]?

I read about that pony tail thing too, I want to do it but I'm scard lol... its worth a try but only cut alittle first to see how it comes out or you can test on a barbie lol

Long Layers [hair stylists PLEASE answer]?

Go to sally beauty and get a mankin to practice on. Try it on a mankin head first, then it it turns out good/right how you want go 4 it. Or get it done professionally

Long Layers [hair stylists PLEASE answer]?

Well, my hairstylist twist my hair and then cut it. (he only grabs a few pieces at a time...he DOESN'T grab the whole hair, twist it, and then cut it...he just picks up a few small pieces.)

*edit

Sorry if i don't make any sense...and the manikin idea is good too.

Long Layers [hair stylists PLEASE answer]?

go spend 15 bucks at fantastic sams....as horrible as those stylists are....they will do a better job than you can.

I have just permed my hair :D :)?

I am so happy i just permed my hair, it is so cool, so easy to comb soooo nice in everything =) thank god thank god thank god. NOW how do u take care of ur permed hair i need tips ways and websites. thank you for you co-operation :D

I have just permed my hair :D :)?

I love curly hair. Your perm will last longer, depending on how well you take care of it. Don't wash your hair too often, as perming your hair dries it. See that you use a shampoo %26amp; conditioner that's specifically for permed hair and has lots of protein. Use a comb with widely spread "teeth". Every morning, comb your hair, spray it with a bottle filled with water, dry it a little with a towel and spray some gel spray on and look fabulous!

I have just permed my hair :D :)?

Plenty of conditioner (you have just done a lot of damage to the basic structure of your hair!) and use a wide toothed comb to brush through. Treat it with respect - it will take a long time to recover.

Ummmm tell me, which product did you use - I really would like to do mine!!

I have just permed my hair :D :)?

Use combs with wide teeth.

I have just permed my hair :D :)?

It feels so good when you get a good perm. I am a stylist and i recommend your should get your ends trimmed around 4 weeks after your perm.. This should remove all the dead ends. Head and shoulders do a fantastic range of shampoos and conditioners (you dont really need to have dandruff to use them). You can get the one for dry hair... It works great. Regular conditioner treatments are also a treat for permed hair.. Use any conditioner. Apply to towel dried hair, comb through and wrap your hair up with either a towel, bag or cling film. Leave for aslong as you want then rinse!!!!

Enjoy your hair!!

I have just permed my hair :D :)?

don't wash it for 48 hours after the perm then wash it twice the first day and then every day or second day until it grows out, use conditioner on it every other washing and if it gets wild try using frizz-ease. i had my hair permed in March

I have just permed my hair :D :)?

I think the best thing you can do to take care of your hair is to try to ease the damage that the perm had on it. If you have a beauty supply store, I'd look into a weekly deep hair repair treatment. They sometimes sell trial packets really cheap (I got them for about $2 a pack), and some great ones to use are Roux Mendex and Lamaur Bone Marrow.

I have just permed my hair :D :)?

Permed hair is alot of fun! I used to perm mine. I did for 5 years. But permed hair speaks for itself. All you need is some gel and body to it! Everyone loved mine!! Have fun with it!!

How can I make the part in my hair less prominent?

I part my hair on the side, and the part always goes all the way from the front clear to the back. Once when I got my hair cut, the beautician recommended that I not have it so prominent, and she combed my hair over in such a way that the part only went back partway, and the rest was smooth without a part.

Well, I cannot do this on my own, no matter what I try! Instead of getting rid of the part, I always just end up having an extremely crooked part. It goes back so far and then takes a sharp turn! :-(

Either that or my hair is all piled up at the back of my head, and looks weird.

HELP!!!!

How can I make the part in my hair less prominent?

Take a chopstick (colored pincels, regular pincles, tooth picks or anything sharp will work too)

Part your hair normally. then take the object of choice start at the back and work your way forward in small zig zaggs. :)) it generally looks pretty sweet. :))

How can I make the part in my hair less prominent?

ye u are in humankind how can u stop hair less prominent, if u want , if the blood circulation less in the brain he can hair less prominent.but it is depend on blood circulation.

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

She has very very fine hair, kinda curly. (towards the bottom) It gets tangled so easily. When she wakes up, it's really matted and when I brush it she just screams. I have used all kinds of detanglers and different kinds of combs and brushes. What are your secrets??

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

They sell a detangler at Great clips its for kids i do not remember the name of it but its in a blue bottle with sunflowers on it. This stuff is like magic spray and its only like 6 bucks. Good luck!

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

Buttermilk is none to reduce tangling also a good conditioner can help like panteen or vidal

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

try a detangler from Sunsilk

It works

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

detangling spray

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

Well I used to have the same problem as a kid, and still today, I just used conditioner, and that really smooths out the snarls....and It should do the same for your daughter.

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

L'Oreal Kids shampoo and conditioners are tear-free and help with tangles.

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

put it in a braid before she goes to sleep?

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

brush her hair after her evening bath and put it in a single braid. when she wakes up then her hair won't be tangled. good luck.

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

Leave in conditioner.

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

keep it cut short

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

Have you tried alberto vo5 cream yet? It can help kids

hair too, also maybe a dab or two of Vaseline %26amp; comb it.

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

i noticed another question like this and a woman answered to use a satin pillowcase.... try it i am not sure if it works though as i have never tried it

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

maybe you should braid her hair and keep it that way when she goes to bed, it really works

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

You can put it in a ponytail on top of her head and put 4 or 5 spongerollers in the ponytail. Since it's on top of her head, it won't bother her to sleep with the curlers (if the curlers try to slide out, tie a little scarf around the curler clump). When you take it down her hair will have no tangles and be curly, too. Then you can put it in curly pigtails to keep it from getting tangled during the day. The braid ideas work well, too. Put in 4 or 5 braids and it comes out looking crimped and no tangles.

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

I hear scissors work good for getting the tangles out.

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

Try the satin pillowcase. It really works!

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

My daughter has hair down to her butt. It's straight but it's fine %26amp; it tangles like crazy. I do two things-I use "Knot Forgotten" (I think it's made by the Aussie Company) each time I wash her hair. I also braid it (usually one big braid) before she goes to bed. I don't know which helps more.

Good luck to you %26amp; your princess!

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

Something I did when my hair was really long was I kept it in a ponytail or a braid when I went to bed. It kept it from getting tangled.

What can I do to keep my 2 yr olds hair from getting tangled??

This happened to my daughter at the same age. I was really frustrated with tangles, food in the hair and the screaming - so I finally did something about it; took her to a beauty shop and had her hair cut. It stayed really short until she was a few years older - then it was so much easier to take care of her hair because she finally learned how to eat without getting food in her hair. From age 4 to now (she's now a mother of one girl) her hair is long.

Remember, hair will always grow - so go ahead and get cut to ease the problems and then let it grow out again in a few years.

How do i make my hair more silky &shiny, they're straight but show split ends?

i have dark brown hair,,i comb my hair many times a day

How do i make my hair more silky %26amp;shiny,they're straight but show split ends?

First off, go to a salon and have them trim the split ends-you will not believe the difference just a mere trim can make in the appearance of your hair! Then try Sebastian Laminates shampoo and conditioner-most salons sell this brand, or you can purchase online (see link below). This is an excellent line, it really shows off the shine in EVERY hair color/texture. And the conditioner will give your hair the silky feel you are looking for. Best of luck to you!

How do i make my hair more silky %26amp;shiny,they're straight but show split ends?

It is hard on your hair to comb it many times a day. You should use styling products so you do not do comb so often. You also need a trim at least every 6-8 weeks to prevent split ends.

How do i make my hair more silky %26amp;shiny,they're straight but show split ends?

The only way to get rid of split ends is to trim them off. To prevent them, use a good shampoo and moisturizing conditioner.

How do i make my hair more silky %26amp;shiny,they're straight but show split ends?

First, get your hair trimmed about every 6 weeks or 2 months to get rid of the split ends. I like Pantene, but my stylist would like me to use salon products. To me, they are too expensive.

How do i make my hair more silky %26amp;shiny,they're straight but show split ends?

Extra conditioner always helps me. Shampooing tends to dry hair if you wash everyday, so maybe try to lay off of the shampoo to every other time or so, and more moisurizing conditioner... Hope that helps! :]

How do i make my hair more silky %26amp;shiny,they're straight but show split ends?

I don't think you should comb your hair many times a day. I think once is enough. My my hair was in shock, I tried this product by Framesi. It's called Biogenol. It works so good. I think you'll love it. It did a 360 on my hair. No kidding. You can get it at the salon. Sometimes they'll have really good deals where you can get the shampoo and conditioner for $25 and you can get a rebate too. So that's cool. Also, this other product called Biosilk is really good too. I don't remember who puts it out, but I saw some of the drugs stores starting to carry Salon products like this now. Long's Drugs, CVS, and even Target. Oh yeah, you should get a hair cut or trim to try and get rid of those split ends. Heat styling will give you split ends too.

How do i make my hair more silky %26amp;shiny,they're straight but show split ends?

Sunsilk Hydra TLC shampoo and conditioner, I also use the TLC 24/7 hydra creme, these are inexpensive and can be found most anywhere! I have been using this for about 2 months and love it!

How do i make my hair more silky %26amp;shiny,they're straight but show split ends?

trim ur splitendz n apply egg or dahi on ur hair forthe shine

How do i make my hair more silky %26amp;shiny,they're straight but show split ends?

u might need to get it cut more often to avoid split ends. also combing it to often can damage your hair.

How do i make my hair more silky %26amp;shiny,they're straight but show split ends?

You will have to trim off the split ends. Split ends won't go away. Then use a conditioner just on the ends if the rest of your hair is oily. If it is not oily then use regular amount of conditioner on your scalp and extra on the ends. Avoid using a brush on your hair as it will add to your spit ends and be VERY careful when combing or brushing wet hair. It is the most fragile when it is wet. Some ends splitting is inevitable no matter what you do so your bet is to have your ends trimmed every 4 weeks. The longer you leave split ends the higher they will ride up in your hair.

How do i make my hair more silky %26amp;shiny,they're straight but show split ends?

For shiny and silky hair use egg %26amp; for split ends put some camphor tablets in your hair oil and use it.Put camphor in proportion.

How do i make my hair more silky %26amp;shiny,they're straight but show split ends?

to prevent spilt ends 1st trim it. tohave silky%26amp;shiny hair use hibiscus leaf oil

How do i make my hair more silky %26amp;shiny,they're straight but show split ends?

Try to trim your hair atleast once a month use vinegar with some water as final rinse when takin bath and see the results

Help! Hair falling out after child birth. What to do.?

Since my baby turned three months my hair has been falling out especially when I comb it. My hair is not process. I use optimum semi-permanent creme hair color.

Help! Hair falling out after child birth. What to do.?

That's perfectly normal! It's because your body and hormones are all out of whack. It will probably go on for another few months but don't worry about it.

I was told that if I got my hair cut that it would stop falling out so bad, so I did. DON"T DO THAT!!! It kept falling out.

I was also told that getting on birth control would stop it. The birth cotrol made it worse.

Just let nature run it's course and it will eventually stop on it's own.

Help! Hair falling out after child birth. What to do.?

u can also try adding salt when shampooing your hair, it will prevent hair loss n ur hair will not turn white so fast... my mum is using tis method now and it works too. =)

Help! Hair falling out after child birth. What to do.?

Hair loss after child birth is completely normal. It will continue for sometime too. Mine started falling out at about 5 months after birth and slowed down after about 18 months. Don't stress, just continue to take your prenatal vitamins.

Help! Hair falling out after child birth. What to do.?

Ask your hair dresser. There is a shampoo and conditioner that helps with the problem of hair falling out/thinning hair.(Sorry can't remember the name) It's only sold in salons and you only use a small amount of each. It cost about $20/bottle.

Help! Hair falling out after child birth. What to do.?

This is absolutely normal. Mine came out in clumps. Just make sure to take vitamins. I also cut my hair shorter so it could grow back thicker.

Trying to grow out curly hair?

if i blow dry my hair just once a week, is that still bad?

also...if i blow dry it on cool setting will that help even though

its like harsh wind? trying to grow out hair...

i cut off all the dead ends,im taking Biotin 5000mcg, hot oil treatment once a week, garnier length/straigth sham/conditioner plus leave in fragile to hard to grow long hair. blow dry it maybe once a week. combing with fingers

is there anythig else i should be doing?

Trying to grow out curly hair?

you said your hair was curlly not fried.

There is something you can try. Skip the leave in conditioners. If you look at the ingredients on the bottle you will find alchole. which is a drying agent. Instead use any regular conditioner. wash your hair. rinse. reapeat(lol) no just put in conditioner. do not wash out. put a shower cap on your head and sleep with it that way overnight. Wash out the next morning.

Trying to grow out curly hair?

Blow drying (frying) hair with hot air is bad for your strands. A cooler setting would be better in terms of the damage that would be caused by high temps but it still isn't the best solution. In 2005 I decided I wanted to grow out my over processed, hip bone length, hair so I joined a pretty cool website that offers tips, advice, and support. I'll leave the link below. Goodluck!

Short hair rabbit shedding question?

have a short hair white rabbit. use a brush n now its not workin. her hair flys all over now. what can i use to comb her with to stop all this shedding? the wire one looks like id rip it out by roots.---thanks--

Short hair rabbit shedding question?

Rabbits usually shed when the weather changes. I usually use awire brush. You can try running a wet hand though her fur. This picks up a lot of loose fur. You can also use a roller that you use to get fur off of clothing. To help her get rid of her coat more quickly, you can give her a little bit of black sunflower seeds.

Short hair rabbit shedding question?

i use a wire brush and it helps a bit but rabbits tend to mostly shed when theyre nervous.. thats when it flies out all over the place, also ive noticed that when it cools down they stop their shedding.. theyre hair is so fine that the finest brush you could get would be the best just dont press hard and it wont hurt.

Short hair rabbit shedding question?

I actually wet my hands down, then I'll use them both to pet the rabbit, first toward the tail, then pet the fur backward toward their head, then back down. I do this back and forth until my hands get dry. You will get a LOT of wet fur stuck to your hands. If you just rub your palms together the fur will ball up and come off on it's own.

My breed has very short, fine hair, and this usually works better than any brush I've ever tried.

African Hair?

so what would happen if i combed my hair for hours would it be straight or fall off ?

and i need african hair growth tips i have very short hair short hair it doesnt even reach up to my neck i really want longer hair so tips pleaz thanx

African Hair?

use a special shampoo for hair growth and straightening

African Hair?

A lot of it would come out I would think. For white people it works sometimes for me because of the oil on my hands.... but that just leaves it greesy. I would goto a health food store, viatamin shop or a smoothie king and buy some hair growth pills there.

African Hair?

I have black friends that have some amazing hairstyles. One friend has lots of cute wigs, she also gets her hair professionally straightened and then they add hair extensions, she sometimes gets the braiding, too. Combing it won't make it grow. Go to a good salon and ask some questions. In the meantime, get a few wigs and experiment with different looks. She always looks gorgeous!

Need hair help urgently! tangling problem?

okay so my hair gets tangeled every two seconds i comb it and the enxt minute it's like i live in the jungle

how can i protect my hair from it

i use lots of conditioner every time i wash it

i have lond light brown hair

thanks

XOXOX

Need hair help urgently! tangling problem?

You need to seal the cuticle ( this is like little teeth on each strand of hair).

Use conditioner each time you shampoo. Don't rub hair dry w/the towel. Squeeze out excess water w/towel. Also a deep conditioning treatment would not hurt, use at least once per wk.

If you blowdry your hair make sure you use a thermal protectant and blowdry w/heat blowing the same direction the hair grow( this helps close the cuticle and give more control and shine. Blowing against will ruffle the cuticle and cause damage)

If your hair is curly get a curl definer and work it into the hair comb through with a lg. tooth comb, place hair where you want it then leave it alone as much as possible so it doesn't fizz, get big and tangle.

You may not be able to get rid of all your tangling problems but this would be a good start. Keeping it trimmed is very good practice to.

Need hair help urgently! tangling problem?

Is your hair curly?

My hair tangles incredibly easy, so I make sure to ease up on shampoo, use conditioner frequently, trim my hair every 4 weeks, and use leave-in conditioner every time I style.

Need hair help urgently! tangling problem?

Try some untangle solution or spray you can get it most anywhere.

Need hair help urgently! tangling problem?

my cousin has this problem. i would suggest going and getting trimmed. the person who cut her hair just told her to brush every chance she gets. u just need to brush like 10 times a day.

Need hair help urgently! tangling problem?

1. proper products

2. regular visits to the salon

3. proper tools

I have clients like you and it only takes a bit of educating from a good stylist to help you through this. Do NOT let them rob you by just selling you a bunch of B.S.!!!!

Good luck!

Scott

Need hair help urgently! tangling problem?

forget conditioning your hair and just do streightning with the chi hair streightner it totally works because i have alot of hair like you. I tried to condition my hair and i even tryed moose it never worked for me so streighting my hair was the best thing.

Better hair at night, then at daytime?

For some reason my hair seems to be more easy to manage than during the daytime, does anybody else notice this as well. Like for instance, during the day i might have fizzy hair and some spots that are hard to comb down but at night it seems like my hair is so nice, soft and silky and easy to manage. what up with that?

Better hair at night, then at daytime?

natural oils have had time to restore your hair after shampoo [which strips natural oil]

you can try washing hair at night, so natural oils are there in the morning or wash every other day

Better hair at night, then at daytime?

I think it's because when you sleep, you move around a lot, and because of that, your hair gets all messed up.

Better hair at night, then at daytime?

Well, I have a problem that in the winter my hair gets CRAZY static. Maybe you have the same problem but it's just at night?

Better hair at night, then at daytime?

i read in a magazine that if you don't wash your hair for a day, the next day.. your hair will be easier to manage and to fix. i forgot what the reason was, but yep. so don't trip, maybe you're using the wrong shampoo for your hair type. or um, try leaving your conditioner on your hair for 2 minutes [don't rinse, and if your hair is really frizzy or tangled, get a wide toothed comb and comb your hair] let the conditioner settle, then wash it off. because if you just put on conditioner, then wash it off right away, it's just a waste of time and conditioner cause it'll barely affect anything. but if you already do that when you shower, then woops, sorry. lol.

then try to purchase a blow dryer that has a thin head. something like this: http://cdn.overstock.com/images/products...

because it'll keep from frizzing your hair or getting it messy, like how a normal blow dryer does. yuuuuupp.

well goodluck(=

Better hair at night, then at daytime?

yeaa prob because it gets messed up wen u turn in ur sleep

How do i make my hair longer?

Hi, im a 14 year old male. My hair is about 4 inches right now and I have it split in the middle and combed to the side. I want to have my hair about 6 1/2 to 7 inches by the time school starts again (August 21) but that will take about 5 more months. So is there a way I can get it a lil longer? Like hair extensions, would they work? Thanks and love :)

How do i make my hair longer?

Believe it or not... fish oil capsules, I know from experience. I found mine at a 99 cent only store and they work just fine. (2 a day)

How do i make my hair longer?

hair extensions might work, but it depends what you're looking for. i have never tried, but i hear tiger conditioning treatments help make hair grow faster. get your hair trimmed a lot also, as that makes your hair grow faster.

How do i make my hair longer?

Son, it is your hair, but I think long hair belongs on girls. Hair extensions is the only way to do it an time, but I bet your parents are not that rich or foolish. No offense meant.

How do i make my hair longer?

Eat a lot of berries.

How do i make my hair longer?

Extentions are an option, the other is accept the natural way, of letting it grow.

How do i make my hair longer?

I think if you get hair extensions at 14 people will notice (trust,, me, I'm 14, I would notice). All you can do is get really good expensive shampoo and eat protein. The protein is what your nails and hair are made of (I'm sure you know) so eating extras of that should help too.

How do i make my hair longer?

The Most Important Things to Know About Healthy Hair Diet

The beauty of hair is a direct manifestation of internal health. How and what we eat determines our hair. It閳ユ獨 essential to get proper nutrients directly from the foods that we eat. Healthy hair diet is very important. Eating a healthy, balanced diet is necessary for the health and beauty of your hair! Great nutrition is the most effective way of getting awesome hair...

Paying attention to nutrition will help to beat bad hair days.

Having healthy hair requires well-balanced diets that incorporate proteins and vitamins B, C, E, A and K.

Hair instantly responds to the addition of protein rich foods such as meats, eggs, cheese, seeds and nuts.

Protein

Protein is the building block of hair. Hair is 88 percent protein. Protein will give the shaft of your hair more strength, and will reduce the probability of damage.

Vitamin B

The B vitamins are necessary for healthy hair. Lack of B vitamins can lead to oily hair conditions.

Sources: green vegetables, beans, sunflower seeds, nuts and peas.

Vitamin C

It strengthens the immune system, and assists in metabolizing B vitamins and amino acids into the body. Lack of vitamin C can cause dry hair.

Sources: oranges, lemons, limes, melons, berries, red peppers, kale, cauliflower, tomatoes and cucumbers.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A is important for the health of your scalp. A lack of it can lead to dry hair.

Sources: carrots, sweet potatos, squash, broccoli, cantaloupe or apricot.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E provides lots of benefits for growing vibrant hair.

Sources: avocado, rice bran, nuts, dark green vegetables, legume and whole grains.

Vitamin K

Vitamin K helps to maintain healthy hair

Sources: seafood, dairy food, fig, brewer yeast, asparagus, broccoli, lettuce, cabbage, dark green leafy vegetables, egg yolk, oatmeal, rye, soybean, liver, wheat and yogurt.

Iron

Healthy hair needs iron in the body. Iron is needed to help carry oxygen to the hair. Without enough iron, hair gets starved for oxygen.

Sources: eggs, fish, liver, oysters, meat, poultry, whole grains, green leafy vegetables and blackstrap molasses.

Magnesium

Magnesium deficiencies lead to hair problems.

Sources: meat, fish, fruit, nuts, brewer閳ユ獨 yeast, whole grains and green-leafy vegetables.

Copper

Copper is needed for hair structure and is involved in the pigmentation of hair.

Sources: milk, bread and green vegetables.

Zinc

A lack of zinc can lead to hair loss. Zinc is necessary for building hair protein.

Sources: oysters, peas, pulses, haricot beans, butter and kidney.

Water

Water is important for hair. Water makes up one-fourth of the weight of a strand of hair. Moisture makes the hair supple and helps keep your hair silky and shiny. Eight to ten glasses of water a day are absolutely necessary to nourish healthy hair.

Essential Fats (EFAs)

Healthy hair also needs two essential fatty acids, omega-3 and omega-6, that are not produced naturally by the human body.

Omega-3 fats sources: flax oil, algae, cold-water fish, dark-green vegetables, hemp oil and pumpkin seed oil

Omega-6 fats sources: borage, evening primrose oil, safflower oil, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, corn and pumpkin seeds.

Cold-pressed vegetable oils are also essential to a hair healthy diet. Lack of these oils causes dull, lifeless hair along with parched, rough skin.

To supplement your diet, you should consider taking a daily vitamin-mineral supplement formulated for hair.

Foods and bad habits that harm your hair

Eating dead food can lead to lifeless hair. These are sugars, chocolate, cakes, cookies, starches, soft drinks, and snacks.

Caffeine, alcohol, nicotine and recreational drugs destroy important hair growing nutrients.

I want straight hair!!!?

Pressing hair or Relaxer?

I have curly, thinning hair and would like to wear my hair straight.Which one do you think I should do just press my hair out when I go to salon or should I get a hair relaxer.I just recently had my hair cut short into a bob.(not by choice, had some issues)Now I dont think my hair looks good curly and so short.I had my hair pressed and it looks good ,nice and straight and I can comb it.lol Now I dont know what to do to keep getting it pressed for now .Or just try a relaxer.I have had a relaxer a few years back ,but my hair was also a whole lot thicker then. What to do?Relaxer or flat iron use .......

I want straight hair!!!?

The question comes down to: time and cost.

The other question is health for your hair. Try and answer these questions to your satisfaction and you may be able to choose what to do.

I want straight hair!!!?

FLAT IRON!

good Luck

I want straight hair!!!?

Personally , I wont go with chemical solutions on my hair ever again. My hair was in really nice shape until I permed it last fall. I would suggest using a flat iron and not using chemical solutions on it.

I want straight hair!!!?

i personally like flat iron but if u like the relaxer it might work. the flat iron (on my hair) didnt make my hair straight for too long so id go w/ the relaxer

I want straight hair!!!?

buy a ceramic hair straightener that is what the salons use, it has to be ceramic in order for best results, good luck :0) oh and use a hair gel for extra hold

I want straight hair!!!?

how about straighting it is starts gettin curly.........

I want straight hair!!!?

If you go for the relaxer try the one for childrens it is safer - however, it can still make your hair thinner.

as far as the flat iron use a ceramic one, and get one that will not pull out your hair. They break your hair alot.

I would go old school with it and do the rollers and hair dryer, it is less damaging, N E ways good luck.

I want straight hair!!!?

too damn bad sista! no one cares what kind of hair you want!

I want straight hair!!!?

just use a flat iron. the sedu!

I want straight hair!!!?

Relaxers are so bad for your hair, they dry it out SO bad and with short hair...I don't think it's a good idea b/c if it messes it up then you don't have much hair to cut off...I HIGHLY reccomend the CHI straightener...It is AWESOME! I recently got one and have super thick curly hair, prior to my CHI I had a $30 straightener from Target and it would take me 70 minutes to make my hair straight, with my CHI, it takes about 15-20 minutes and it stays straight until I wash it...it's great and it doesn't dry out my hair. I get SO many compliments when I wear it like that now when before I didn't! :) Hope this helps! Oh, and the CHI is pricey but you can find one on ebay a little cheaper but it SO worth the $$, it also has a lifetime warranty on it so it will be the last one you ever buy too! Have a good one!

Wild pubic hair?

What can be done with wild pubic hair? I do like to braid it but when I comb it out it looks like I have the Jackson Five sitting in my crotch. Thats fine but I am looking for a gel that wont rub off on to underwear too easy. Any ideas?

Wild pubic hair?

Shave it into a mohican and dye it wild colours then gel it, get some photos done and make Xmas cards with them..............

Wild pubic hair?

Why not trim it short........? Just a thought

Wild pubic hair?

I don't think putting gel on it is a good idea. It might cause an irritation or it might cause an infection. I think you should try trimming it down a little and just keep it trimmed so you won't have to deal with it.

Wild pubic hair?

shave it off

How do i get my hair straight?

ok i'm a black women with really long hair i've never permed it and i dont want to because i'm afraid of what it might do to it so how do a get it straighten beside perms and hot combs? if this is possible

How do i get my hair straight?

then flat iron it!

How do i get my hair straight?

ya

flat iron try to get a Chi flat iron.

How do i get my hair straight?

i dont really know of anything to do to get ur hair to stay straight other than perming it the only thing i would know to do is to have a weive done, that away it stays straight and u dont have to do it any more, or for a while, i also have never known anything to go wrong perming a black ladies hair, if u have a professional who knows what they are doing most of the time a perm quits working after a while like 20 minutes.

How do i get my hair straight?

the only thing i can think of is keep a moisturizer in your hair and maybe try a straight iron. honestly, the best thing is ask someone (preferably a professional) to answer that question. those people are the best direct sources, in my opinion! Also-there might be some kind of gel you can use.

How do i get my hair straight?

use sesame oil or olive oil leave it in Ur hair like 40 min then clean it
