My hair used to be long, and my hairdresser cut it really short and I'm trying to grow it back but my hair is in a ponytail everyday and when I comb it a whole bunch of hair falls out. How can I prevent this from happening?

dont wear your hair in ponytails so often or at least dont wear the hairtie so tight. when its tight it breaks it and when you brush your hair it pulls those broken hairs out. you can also try a moisturizing shampoo so it wont be so dry.

You are pulling on your hair with it being in a ponytail all the time. The hair needs to breath. Shampoo, condition and oil your hair weekly. Aside from that clip the ends every six weeks. Wrap your hair in a silk or satin scarf before you go to bed. Sleep in it. You'll be fine. Wearing ponytails is one reason many women cannot grow their hair long.
