How can i untangle these knotes from my doggies Hair?! or at least stop them!?

i have a Bichone Frise and we give her a shower once a week. comb her hair at least once a day. and she keeps getting these little knots of hair. its like little cotton balls that apear on her. its extremely annoying. because its getting harder to comb her and it just builds up. is there anything we can do to stop them from appearing. or at least make them go away. Thanks.

Well first I would shampoo and conditioner your dog and then try to comb him out after that! If that is what you are doing already and is not working then go to the groomers and have them shave her down or trim off alot of hair and let it grow back in nice and new and as long as you keep up with the combing daily you should not have a problem anymore! Also if you decide to go to the groomer explain to them what you are having trouble with and she or he being very experienced in that field may even have another option that may help even better! You can even give one a call and see if they could help you with your questions over the phone if you do not want to go to one! I hope these helps!

do you have some dog conditioners? maybe its cause her fur is too dry.

Use mane and tail shampoo and conditioner (it's for horses). Also, a detangling spray would help.

How about a haircut???Then you wouldn't worry about hairs in knot!! Maybe they are dry try a good conditioner.

theres thing comb ....i havent seen it at a petco or petsmart...only at a pet feed...comb that has blades on them...my poodles get them too! i hate it...u go through it with the blade comb and it cuts off the knots....then u can comb it with a regular one...good luck to that one..i know u'll neeeeeeed it!

it sounds like her hair is dry. u could try to change her conditioner. u could also brush her more then once a day that might help. i also heard that there is a comb that has like a blade on it so it would get rid of the knots in her hair. or wat u could do is shave her hair short in the summer then when it comes to winter it won't be as long. cuz dog's hair doesn't grow as fast as ours do.

There is a brush that combes but at the same time cuts any knots in the way. I use this on my dogs and its great but be warned your dog might have a thin coat after it.
