Hair problems?

I'm not one to care much about my looks, so I don't care much if you answer or not.

My hair's really bushy, and whenever I comb it it looks really messy anyway because it's so thick. How do I make it thinner and neater?

It's always a tangled, thick, bushy mess.

Frizz Ease now has a product to reduce volume. I haven't tried it, but a friend of mine did and she loves it. She has very thick, very bushy hair and it works great. Her hair is much smoother and doesn't look like she stuck her finger in a light socket when she uses it. On the bottle it says, "Volume Reducer". You can get it with the regular Frizz Ease products.

get a perm..but mostly perms are made for black people because we have thicker hair. But try a kiddy perm its not as strong as the other perms, it should get ur hair perfect good luck

conditioner. u need a good shampoo/conditioner, and then leave in conditioner to Detangle. comb thru. if u let it airdry, it might poof out right? actually what i sometimes do is blowdry it 3/4 of the way, and then twist it up into a bun and put a rubber band around it a few times. i go around that way, and when i take it out later my hair is not poofy but a bit Wavy.... and then i can straighten the top of my hair w/ a straightener........

if u really don't wanna do too much w/ ur hair, try using a clip or rubber band as it dries.. it really helps take out the frizz. good luck

Hair problems?

do you ever wet it befor u comb it ?

Hair problems?

hm. Normally I would say try straitening it, but since you seem to not want to spend that much time in the mornings on it, there are other ways to get the job done.

The quickest, easiest solution is to wear it in a braid or ponytail, but I think the best permanent solution would would be a hair cut. I don't mean make it super short though. There are ways of cutting hair that make it more manageable and neat. They use certain techniques, and maybe layer it a special way. My advice would be to spend a hour or two more online, looking at different pictures of hairstyles, and which one would be best for you. Then print out some pictures, go to the barber and tell him what you want your hair to be like.

Good luck!!

Go to a stylist and explain your situation. You probably just need the right cut. Hairdressers can also thin out your hair so its not so thick and hard to handle

um start caring. try different things , get it chemically straightened no perm! and grow it longer because the less weight there is the poofy-er it will be. if you dont care you will never find the best way to work with your hair.

So you can go for a straight perm (sometimes it's called rebonding) - it's as if you used the heating plates on your hair, but it's a permanent wave.

That usually eases the bushiness.

But I think a combination of a good, sensible cut and good care for your hair will go a long way. Find a trusted, reliable hairdresser and get a consultation. Forums and messageboards are a good place to look for recommendations.

Looking after your hair is not as difficult as it seems. Besides the usual shampoo and conditioner, use a leave in conditioner or a serum before styling. I find it helps moisturise and tame my hair (especially the serums). L'Oreal has one.

Once a week treat it to a mask - either one from the store or just make one from mashed avocado. Some people use egg but the smell it leaves is kinda gross, i think.

And if you're really game, you can try adding 1 part of apple cider vinegar to 10 parts water to your final rinse. That is supposed to get rid of residue and make your hair nice and shiny.

Good luck!
