use heavy styling gel and a flat hot-iron.

I tried this on my son's curly hair and it looked great. Unfortunatly he doesn't like to take the time to fix his hair in the mornings.

First of all wash your hair as minimally as possible %26amp; when you do wash your hair make sure you use a nourishing, professional haircare product including shampoo, conditioner %26amp; styler. Buy a hair straightener %26amp; use each time you wash %26amp; condition your hair. It is best to let your hair dry naturally prior to straightening. If you want to keep the natural wave in your hair then you need to use an extra moisturising shampoo %26amp; conditioner as well as a product that you can scrunch in your hair while it is wet to loosen %26amp; soften the curls. Dont use cheap products as they don't ever give quality results.

Using good products in your hair is key. Try Kerastase. It's pricey but worth it. Also if you use a blow dryer be sure to put a protector in your hair before drying it.
