Is there an easier way to stop dry fly away hair?

After my hair dries, it is very fly away. I comb it again with cold water, but then as soon as it is dry again, it flies away again! It gets so frustrating. Am I using the wrong shampoo? Is that what it is? I use white rain.

WHITE RAIN IS A NO NO IT ONLY BUILDS UP ON YOUR HAIR OK ENOUGH OF THAT TAKE A DRYER SHEET LIKE BOUNCE OR WHICHEVER AND RUB ACROSS YOUR HAIR OR ON YOUR COMB AND BRUSH ALSO IT IS STATIC ELECTRICITY AND IT HAPPENS IN THE COLD WEATHER

well, i have the same hair type i use this stuff called sunsilk "de-friz" its in a green bottle. it can be on the expensive side but it is well worth it. GOOD LUCK!

I use a light mist of bed head hairspray....just a little goes a long way:o) smooth down (minimally) with your hands after spraying.

i use garnier fructis smoothing milk. after you dry your hair, squirt some smoothing milk into your hands and apply to fly away areas. then blowdry over those areas for a few minutes longer.
