I just got relaxed hair...?

Hi, I just got my hair relaxed. My mom's old best friend took me and her daughter to get it done... her treat. I've never gotten my hair professionally done, though -- and when I came home, I looked online and saw a bunch of "rules" and "guidelines" for it. Now I have a ton of questions XD

Is there a special shampoo you need to use? And are you supposed to wash your hair everyday? Is a conditioner necessary? If so what type?

How do you dry your hair? Blow dryer? Towel? Need a comb, too?

They told me to wait two days until I could wash my hair. And, well, it's been two days XD

I'm Asian, if that makes any difference.

No just use a shampoo that adds moisture to your hair. No you never suppose to wash your hair everyday, shampooing removes the naturals oils from your hair. You always suppose to use a conditioner on your hair. Use a same conditioner that adds moisture to your hair. I wet set my hair. ( Rolling up my hair with rollers while it is wet.) I never use any heated hair appliance to my hair while I have a relaxer on it. You should always comb your hair with a wide tooth comb to decrease hair breakage.

.,it depends on your hair., if ur hair is thin,. then u don't need to use shampoo everyday. for example use shampoo only mwf and conditoner for tths.,

.,if you have dry hair of hair falls., then use hair fall control shampoo., pantene will do.,.

no there's no special shampoo use something good not cheap like i use tresemme moisture rich,and dont wash every day period that's bad for any hair you can dry it out that way

umm i towel dry then i use tresemme heat tamer and spray while wet and then when it's like 90% dry i use a low setting blow dryer,use a wide tooth comb to dangle

ummm that's up to you if you want to wash it i mean i would wait at lest a week,but it's up to you

you really don't have to wash your hair everyday, you will know when you need to wash it. Use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. BEDHEAD Dumb Blonde is good. Before you blow dry your hair,use a thermal protectant, Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum is my personal favorite. It will give your hair shine, and cut down on blowdry time, and it makes your hair really silky. hope this helped.
