Have you seen the hair straightener booths at the malls, Why don't they clean their supplies?

I have been wrapping gifts at a mall on the weekends for the last 4 weeks. We are located next to a booth selling hair straighteners,you know the ones were they get the people walking by to try the product?

Well, they get quit a few women stopping to let them try it out on the hair,and they sell a lot of them too..

I have not yet seen the worker clean or sanitize neither the combs or the straightener they use...over and over...

Whats up with that?

It's completely illegal. Instruments used in hairdressing must be sanitized between patrons. It's the law.

I know that they do NOT clean any of the irons or the combs. I worked 2 mos next to one.

They are all from Jeruselm on visa working here for the flat iron company.

I have always wondered that myself. That is why I don't stop and talk to them. I also see the fake hair or fake pony tails and people try those on all day. It is kinda gross considering you can get lice or someone can have mold or anything in there hair. Yuckie. Anyways, you should walk over and ask them why they don't clean their stuff. It is unsanitary, even salons clean their utensils.
