my hair is constantly breaking. i do get relaxers every 6 - 8 weeks with a trim. i sleep with my hair tied up at night also.

i wonder if the breakage is from brushing my hair... when exactly should i brush or comb it? wet or dry?

could there be any other reasons for the breakage?

Youre not gonna wanna hear this....but...your breakage is more than likely from your perm. Think about it, how many African American women with perms do you know who dont have breakage? Hair is not meant to withstand chemicals like that.

As for brushing, just make sure you only do it when its dry, and when you comb, use a wide tooth rather than small tooth.
