when you put on your conditioner comb through with a wide tooth comb wash the conditioner out twist the hair into a towel don't rub and after about 30 minutes take the towel off and use john frieda's serum for curly hair either let dry naturally or use a defuser on your hairdryer and scrunch dry....

A few tips: apply gel to dripping wet hair as soon as you get out of the shower. Blot or scrunch dry with a microfiber towel or cotton t-shirt - not a regular terry towel. Let it air dry if you can or diffuse partially dry. Don't touch your hair until it's 100% dry. Good luck. These steps made a huge difference in learning to love my curls.

if u want to have beautiful looking and feeling curls, i highly recommend that u try using john frieda's curl enhancing/defining spray called "dream curls". it works great and wont leave ur hair feeling sticky or stiff at all.

I use Gliss repair styling mousse. I put it on my hair when its dry to define my curls, then add a bit of Gliss repair styling hairspray.

after shampooing condition your hair then before rinsing it off you can gently comb your hair .towel dry your hair then put a wet look mousse let it dry and you are ready to go.

OK, after you wash your hair (always condition well, let it sit on your hair for your whole shower, wash it out right before you get out), Comb out with a wide toothed comb Start from the ends and work your way up, rub a moisturizer through your hair, then use a mouse designed for curly hair.

The result will be pretty shiny curls that won't dry out or frizz.

Here's what I do...

*In the shower, with conditioner on the hair, use a shower comb to comb through the tangles

*When you get out of the shower, apply some leave in conditioner of serum, and use the shower comb again to comb out any tangles that may have been left behind

*Apply a curl defining gel or mousse (my fav's graham webb making waves gel and joiwhip mousse by joico) and scrunch

*either let dry naturally or for volume dry with a diffuser

use a pick while its wet and put gel in it evenly. let it air dry, but if you have to blow dry it, use a diffuser
