Help for thin/thinning hair.?

I am a 51 year old female with seriously thinning hair. I've heard of a comb that with use helps improve hair texture and helps prompt hair RE-growth. Anyone heard of it or anything else that actually WORKS.

Thank you.

Hi! My mom is 51, and she had the same problem. Try Nioxin. It's sold only in salons and can be a little pricey, but unless the reason your hair is thinning is related to something medical, this will seriously work. The line has different systems for your specific needs. You can go to http://www.nioxin.com/go/assess-my-needs and take a little quiz to find out which line you'll need then head to a salon to buy some. Unlike Rogaine, Nioxin is a whole haircare line which includes shampoo, conditioner, scalp treatments and styling products. I have clients from every age and hairtype using this line because it truly is one of the best at making your hair the healthiest possible. I hope you will try it and I wish you happy hair days!!!

I have heard that using herbal shampoo, eating vitamins is the best for hair.Hmmm why you don`t use Rogaine?

I actually went to the Doctors about my thinning hair, and they pretty much told me that there was nothing that I could do, I have a friend who has the same situation and they ran tests on her to check her thyroid and that and they said that there wasn't really anything that she could do accept maybe check with a dermatologist. I guess there is some test he can do and possibly prescribe something for it. I really don't see a comb improving texture or re-growth, in fact over brushing will only cause more hair loss. I would say to save your money and maybe see if your doctor or dermatologist could suggest anything. Good luck.

This might not be much help. But i saw a cermercial the other day that showed a creamlike shampoo that uses the hair cells that you already have and they go to where needed. I think it is perfectly logical, I would search around a bit with a good search engine about re-growth hair cream or shampoo.

well, good luck! :)

they make rogain for women . if that didnt work salons are selling a new line for thinning hair called nioxin , not to expensive.

if you want to get into some bigger bucks you could see a hair specialist. dont wear hats or lots of product, you have to let your scalp breath. its probably genetic but you should go get a check up at the doctor because hair loss can be a sign from your body that something else is wrong seriously. go get checked out.
